Third Group Buy of 2011

You might be wondering what happened to group buy #2 and to answer that question, I secretly submitted an order back in February for some small parts for some buyers and also for a Blu-ray movie i have been waiting receive. Anyways, the third group buy was submitted today and should be here soon. This may also be the last group buy for a very long time because of the discontinuation of one of my most popular parts. The left plastic trim piece for the JDM Visor Conversion has been discontinued so I am no longer able to offer the entire JDM visor conversion kit anymore. However, if you need any of the other, i can still get them. However, with all the recent troubles in Japan and the fact that del Sols are almost 20 years old, new parts will slowly be discontinued. This trend started about 5 years ago and pretty soon, there wont be anymore new parts left. If you haven't already purchased a set for yourself, it is now too late.
First Group Buy of 2011

I will be submitting the first group buy of the new year at the end of this week. Currently have more than enough people to submit a new order so if you are interested in purchasing JDM parts for your sol, please contact me ASAP. After the end of the Japanese fiscal year, the price will go up between 5%-10% to reflect the price changes that Honda of Japan implements every year. Also, it may be several more months before I can round up enough people for another group buy, so act now if you want your parts before Vegas Invasion.

There are now five del Sol enthusiasts who are committed to buying JDM parts so I will be able to submit a new order by Monday. Please send payment via Paypal to (thlin"at"lincorp.com) and make sure to send the payment for Goods and not Service so I have your shipping address. I will submit the order on Sunday night 9/19/2010 and if all goes well, the parts should be here in a week or so after that and on your doorstep a few days after that. If you are interested in buying JDM parts and are not part of the group buy, please contact me ASAP for a quote on parts. It may be several more months before I am able to arrange another group buy so get in on the fun while there is still time!

With the current amount of interest I have received, I should have enough people to submit a group buy in October. There are currently three people who have expressed interest in purchasing JDM parts so I will need at least two more to be able to submit an order. It has been some time since I updated this site so I have begun the process of completing this site, which i started over a year and a half ago.
Currently, the conditions for importing and selling parts from Japan have declined to the worst level I have ever experienced. The Yen is at an all time high making our hard earned US dollar virtually worthless in the land of the rising sun. I just checked and $1 US dollar is currently trading for 86 Yen. To give you an idea of the disparity in purchasing power, a typical 8 oz can of coke in the US costs around .65 cents from a vending machine. That same can of coke will cost you around 120 yen in Japan. Converted to dollars, that is roughly $1.40, over double the price.
Because of this and price increases by ebay and the post office, the cost of doing business has increased so much over the last year that Lincorp is no longer profitable. Therefore, I have made the hard decision to suspend sales for the time being until the market conditions improve well enough for my business to be worthwhile. In the meantime, I still purchase parts on a group buy like basis if five or more individuals are interested in purchasing parts.
